Friction a SEXY All-New Standalone from Emily Snow is now LIVE!

Former overachiever Lucy WillIams sucks at adulting.

Recent divorce, check.

Pending lawsuit, check.

A move back to Boston to live with her mother, triple check.

It can’t get much worse, right?

When she starts her new marketing job at EXtreme Effects, she’s positive shit’s stopped hitting the fan. Sure, what she’s advertising is a little … unorthodox, but it pays the bills. And since she’s seconds away from becoming Lucy Williams: Wednesday Night Bingo Enthusiast, she needs money to get the hell out of her mother’s house.

The only problem is her boss, Mr. Extreme himself: Jace Exley. He’s everything any sane woman dreams of—alpha, successful, ridiculously gorgeous. He’s also Lucy’s worst nightmare. Because like every overachiever, she has that underachiever she brushed off. The slacker who, once upon a time ago, was the object of her dirtiest schoolgirl fantasies.

Jace Exley—with his sarcastic smirk and delicious accent—just happens to be that guy.

And the friction between them?

Well, that’s the only adulting Lucy seems to be winning at.

Review

5star

Wow. That is my first thought when I was done with this book. Friction by Emily Snow was such a great read for me. It had all the elements that I love in a book. A great story line, intriguing characters, a hot and sexy alpha, a sassy female, and some really fun banter, great supporting characters, intense drama, and some sizzling sexual tension. This whole book for me was the entire package and I was so sad when it ended, yet so glad that I read got to read it.

Lucy is back home. Not the choice that she would have made for herself, but her only option after having to leave her job and life. Lucy is usually a good girl who is successful in her career, but when she is betrayed by the one person that she is supposed to trust the most, she makes a decision that will change her life forever. Looking for a job, Lucy is desperate and finds herself in the last place she would have ever thought she would be…… back in front of Jace Exeley.

Jace is every woman’s dream. Tall, dark, handsome with blue eyes that will make you weak in the knees. Making a name for himself in an unorthodox business, he is looking for help marketing his company. Imagine his surprise when the girl from his high school that got under his skin and lit it on fire at the same time walks in his office looking for a job. Jace knows he shouldn’t give straight laced Lucy the job, but Jace can’t help himself when it comes to Lucy Williams.

I loved this book 100%. Jace and Lucy were great characters that fit each other perfectly. The push and pull between them built up the tension until it exploded. I loved the good girl and bad boy angle. The drama was intense and had me wanting to reach through the pages and slap a few characters. I also really loved Daisy. She was a fun and sassy character as well. This book made my heart race, my blood boil, and my skin flush. A great read.
