Title: To the Ends of the Earth (A Stripped Series Novella)
Author: Skye Warren
Genre: Dark Romance
Series: Stripped Series
Another rundown apartment. Another job that pays cash. Every new city it becomes harder to hide but I can’t stop running.
There are two men after me. One wants to save my soul. The other wants to claim my body.
Part of me wants Luca to catch me, even knowing what he’s capable of. An enforcer. A fighter. The only language he speaks is violence.
How far will he go to find me?
What will he do once he does?
A wild glance over my shoulder. The shadows are moving. I’m about to find out.
To the Ends of the Earth is a really good book by Skye Warren. The two main characters are about as opposite as you can get. Beth was brought up in a cult. There is no better way to put that. Beth has endured years of torture, both physically and mentally. Her only hopes of escape is to be rescued. She is hoping that her rescuer will be someone to save her from her nightmare. She gets her wish, but her trade off may not be what she bargained for.
Luca is the baddest of the bad in his organized crime family. No one wants to mess with him. He is an enforcer for a reason. He will do whatever it takes to get the job done. He is basically on auto-pilot when it comes to his emotions. However, as soon as he sees Beth, the world tilts on its axis. The only problem is that this little lamb runs from the wolf. Luca is going to enjoy this chase. Nothing is going to stand in his way. Not even his past.
To the Ends of the Earth is a good read. I enjoyed Beth and Luca and how different they were as characters, yet they fit so well together. The drama and action were very entertaining and kept me wanting more from these two.
