Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00064]

Title: Mr. Rebound
Author: Kat T Masen
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: October 30
Moving across the country was supposed to be a fresh start. I’d made mistakes, but I told myself I’d no longer prey on emotionally unstable women. I don’t do relationships—I’m a selfish bastard that enjoys not answering to anyone—and relationships mean being with only one woman. More often than not, one that carries emotional baggage, like cheating exes or worse—kids.
After landing myself in trouble, again, my cousin Charlie dared me to settle down with one woman. I’m not one to shy away from a dare, so I chose Scarlett Winters, the most wanted actress in Hollywood. The sexiest woman on Earth.
I just needed to get past the roadblock—her assistant, Morgan Bentley.
The wicked bitch of the west.
Between her multiple personalities and the giant stick up her ass, I should’ve seen it coming. I’d been with enough women to read the signs. Morgan Bentley was after one thing, and one thing only. A rebound.
That’s me, right?
Mr Rebound.
But what if this time I wanted more?
Kat is one of my favorite go to authors and this book was no exception! It started out a little too slow for my tastes but once it got going it is one of those books you have a hard time putting down. This book is told in Noah’s POV which I’m not used to reading books in the male point of view but I enjoyed the male perspective for a change. We do get a couple chapters in Morgan’s POV, but I would have enjoyed having a little more access to Morgan’s thoughts and feelings as she seemed so reserved and mysterious for most of the book.

Noah Mason is Mr. Rebound. He works hard but plays that much harder. He is happy with his life and not looking to settle down anytime soon. He doesn’t do the whole relationship thing and looks for woman who are freshly heartbroken and on the look for a rebound. When a rebound comes back to bite him in the butt, he is forced to move across the country to LA to live with his cousin, Charlie, and start fresh. Living with Charlie and her family, he is forced to leave his rebound ways behind and think about settling down. When he sets his eyes on Hollywood’s most wanted actress, Scarlett Winters, he never expected that her assistant, Morgan, would catch his eye and turn his whole world upside down.

I absolutely loved Noah and Morgan! Noah just needed the perfect woman to come along in order to change his ways and Morgan was the perfect woman for him although she has plenty of secrets that come to light that could get in the way of a happily ever after between these two. Their chemistry was off the charts and absolutely combustible whenever they were in the same room. I loved how Charlie and Lex, Haden and Cooper, Kate, and even Zoey made an appearance throughout this whole book! I loved seeing these other characters and how their lives were going. Mr. Rebound was was addicting, full of romance and humor, amazingly developed characters, and a storyline that will have you hooked for the very first word. I highly recommend one-clicking this book and every one of Kat’s other books and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!
