UnaTo many, I am little more than a myth. The Kiss of Death, a hired killer, revered by the some of the greatest criminal organisations in the world. Trained by the bratva themselves, without conscience, without mercy, the perfect soldier. I’ll kill anyone… for a price. Death doesn’t discriminate, she sells to the highest bidder, but even I have a weakness.

I want one thing—power. But power is merely a game of strategy. The pieces are on the chess board. Death is my queen, and also my pawn. She’ll paint this city red in exchange for the one thing she wants. Now all I have to do is watch it all play out. She’s nothing more than a weapon, and yet, I find myself wanting to dance with death, to possess her. And I always get what I want.

A game of power. A risk that could cost her everything. An obsession that would see the world burn at their feet. A bloodied king. A broken queen. Kill me or kiss me?

Kill Me by L.P. Lovell is full of a whole lot of craziness. Una was snatched from an orphanage by some very despicable men. However, Una had a bit of fire in her and saved her from being abused by her captors. Instead, she was trained to be an apex predator. Now grown, Una is a lethal assassin, hired by the richest men to take out the weak. She is perfect in every way, highly skilled, gorgeous, and can play any part to get her mark. Nero, the Italian mafia boss, hires Una for a job. However, he has his own plans for Una. He is the most feared man in his city, but he needs Una for a specific job. Little does Una know, Nero also has his sights set on her. He wants the most dangerous woman to belong to him.

Kill Me is a very dark, dirty, bloody, gritty and sexy read. Una and Nero’s characters are well written and very commanding on the page. They come across as perfect matches that complete each other. Their scenes together are so HOT. I enjoyed the way the story of Kill Me was told. It flowed in a way that allowed the build of the story to grow and held me tight until the very end. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
