–KADE–
Ainsley Daniels. She is a typhoon. A tidal wave. A goddamned wrecking ball. She burst into my world unannounced and left nothing but destruction in her wake. The worst part about it: I can’t get her out of my head.
In a bizarre twist of fate, the drummer of my band is marrying Ainsley’s best friend. In a few months, I’ll be face to face with the woman who took my heart and ran. It’s been over a year since I first laid eyes on her, and I’m finally getting the second chance I was hoping for. This time, I’ll do anything to make Ainsley Daniels mine.

–AINSLEY–
Kade Black isn’t just the lead singer of the most notorious rock band in the world, he’s my dark horse. Our one night plan became three weeks of debauchery, and I never intended to see him again when it was over.
He offered me the world, but I’m too much of a realist. Instead, I pushed him away and spent the last year building a life for myself. Now Jenny’s wedding is blowing into town like a hurricane, stirring up feelings I’ve worked so hard to ignore. Between my daughter, my job, and a bitter ex-husband who’s determined to destroy me, the last thing I need in my new life is Kade coming back to shake things up. I’ve moved on.
If only Kade Black weren’t so damned irresistible.

4-star
Kade is my first book by Jane Anthony. I really enjoyed this book. Kade is in the band Black Diamond. He is super Alpha. Tall, dark, handsome. You know, the whole package. He is touring for 6 weeks with his band. During this tour, his PR company brings on an assistant, Ainsley. Ainsley is there to reboot her life. She is getting over her ex-husband cheating on her with their nanny. Her friend owns the PR company that has been hired by Black Diamond, so she figured that Ainsley could catch a breather for a few weeks while the nasty ex-husband was on vacation with their daughter and the nanny.

Kade catches sight of Ainsley and knows that he wants her. Ainsley and Kade begin a great love affair, but in the back of her mind, Ainsley knows that this relationship will never work. She has a home and a family that she can’t just leave or uproot. What kind of life would she give her daughter when Kade is traveling and touring all of the time. Despite Kade’s requests, Ainsley make the heartbreaking decision to go back home to her family when the tour is over. Is that the end of Kade and Ainsley? Doesn’t Kade always get what he want?

Kade was such a good and strong character in this book. His character really surprised me and I though he was well written and a good lead. Ainsley was a bit difficult to like after a bit, but overall her character was good and a good opposite for Kade. The second chance stories are feel good and a bit heart warming. It helps counter the hot sex scenes. You will not be disappointed with this book.
