Sex…A lot can happen at the Olympic Games… you just have to get there first.

My name is Lacy LaBelle. I’m a swimmer, and my story is a rocky one.

My life hasn’t been easy, my father kicked me out at sixteen making my dreams of Gold a hell of a lot harder. But with my best friend’s parents taking me under their wing, my dreams became something to strive for.

Now I’ve found my way to the Olympic trials, and nothing will stop me from securing my ticket to the Games.

Except, maybe my brain telling me I’m going to freeze, the girl who’s intent on seeing me fail, and not to mention the hot guy who’s taking my breath away.

Everything is a distraction.

Will I get my ticket to the Olympics?

Will my hard work see me swim the epic strokes of Gold?

Strokes of Gold by KE Osborn is about a young girl who has had to fight hard to make her dreams come true. After her parents kicked her out of the house at a young age, her teammate and best friend Caro’s family take her in and support her like a family should. While working her butt off to make the Olympic team, she meets Coby another swimmer trying to make it to the Olympics. When things start happening, Lacy has to overcome the distractions and loss to fight for what she deserves. Coby is along her side the whole time. Lacey becomes stronger and stands up for herself more and overcomes all the obstacles, helping make things right.

KE Osborn hit an Olympic Gold on this book. I loved it. It had all the feels you want in a book and it wasn’t over done. Plus I loved the Australian Dictionary she added to help with the slang. 5 stars given!

Kissing him is the kind of pleasure that you only find in romance stories, the great novels of fiction that tell of epic love tales and happy ever afters. Kissing Coby feels like that. Like maybe that kind of fairy tale does exist. Like maybe they’re not just stories people make up, but true happiness exists. You just have to find the right person.
