Review
This is the second book in the Heaven’s Rejects Series and it focuses on Raze, the club president. Part of this book actually parallels events from book 1 so you really should read HEAVEN SENT first to understand the full story. It my opinion, for the best experience, this cannot be read as a stand-alone. I really liked the plot and there were some really crazy twists and turns that made my jaw drop.
Darcy is trying to move on after the passing of her husband, Jagger. She blames the club for her husband’s death. One day a year after his passing, a letter shows up at her house from her husband and it opens wounds and sends her on a mission for revenge.
Raze is determined to avenge his MC brother’s death and his wife’s betrayal, but will he see the clues as to how deep her deceit was before it’s too late.
The flow in book 2 was better than book 1 although it still moved a bit slow for me. I really liked how the MC bonded together and how they supported Darcy. Darcy is a very strong female lead and she was able to stand up to many of the alpha biker guys.
Overall: 3.5 stars
Cliffhanger: no
Designation: Part of a series
