Two seductive strangers.
They were also the enemy.
Their company wants to take the one thing that means anything to me.
Now, I’m navigating a dicey path. Loving two men who can destroy me in a multitude of ways. They can shatter my heart, wreck my dreams, but worst of all, demolish the only place I’ve ever called home.
Jennifer Reeves is running the Corkscrew while her pops, Nathaniel Jackson is struggling with emphysema. One night she is hosting a Bachelor/Bachelorette party for her best friend and two very attractive strangers walk in. She flirts and they flirt back, but they seem more than friends. She isn’t sure if they are just playing games, but she figures it can’t hurt to have a one-time fling and so the night ends with more than flirting in the stairwell.
Chase, a lawyer. and Shane, an architect, are looking for someone to make their lives complete. As much as they enjoy their relationship, they want a woman to join them. One night with Jenn makes them realize she is perfect for them, but unfortunately they work for Winters Travers, the biggest housing developer in the state. The latest project Winters Travers is working on involves redeveloping the area where the Corkscrew is with new condos. There is no way for Jenn to be with anyone who works for the enemy, is there?
Seriously fantastic….book hangover! It was short ….but great. I could not believe how Chase and Shane handled the ‘first date’. They were the perfect gentleman. I loved Jenn’s inner dialogue! And talk about steamy…it was fabulous. I loved that there was drama and heart break, but it wasn’t really due to jealousy or tension between Jenn, Chase and Shane. For a 7 chapter book I was in love with every word on every page. I really hope there is more about the Jenn, Chase, and Shane Trinity!
