Quincy is a single woman who was just given her nephew to raise. Not knowing what she is doing, she is floundering and questioning herself at every turn when it comes to her nephew. Daniel steps in to help her one night and then they part ways. Daniel is a soccer star who comes from a large family, so he knows how to deal with little ones. He graciously steps in to help Quincy.
Their relationship was like fate kept throwing them together. They developed a relationship with each other slowly and as friends who learn about one another before jumping into bed with one another. But good lord once they realize they are in love with one another and they decide to hit the next level, the heat level rises to scorching between the two of them.
They had their obstacles and they had their differences but in the end they came together stronger.
It was a well written story. It had it all within the pages.

“Mother, reader, storyteller – ME Carter never set out to write books. But when a friend practically forced a copy of Twilight into her hands, the love of the written word she had lost as a child was rekindled. With a story always rolling around in her head, it should come as no surprise that she finally started putting them on paper. She lives in Texas with her four children, Mary, Elizabeth, Carter and Bug, who sadly was born long after her pen name was created, and will probably need extensive therapy because of it.”
