OMG, how to begin…this is a hard one to review…it is beyond twisted! There is a killer on the loose who goes by the name Sociopath. Sapphire was part of the upper class until the night she meets Damian and learns a family secret that gets her kicked out and she is forced to run from everything she’s ever known. One year later Sociopath sends her a message which means that she is his next target. She was secretly given a card to contact Dominic Scott in case she needed help. Unfortunately, Dominic is Damian’s twin brother and has his own issues.
This was seriously a great story! I loved every twisted minute of it! It is a full story, but it does end on a cliffhanger so we have to wait for July for Book 2. This is one of those books that has you on the edge of your seat. I read it in one day since I was so intrigued by what secret Sapphire learned that turned her world upside down and who and what was driving Sociopath to do what he did. It is a bit complex since you are keep switching between 6 timelines, Sapphire’s present and past, Sociopath’s present and past and Dominic/Damien present and past. It is complex, but at the same time the time changes are clearly indicated so it was easy to follow.
Of course I can’t tell you any of the juicy tidbits since that will ruin the fun, but seriously, you have to get this hidden gem. If you are a fan of the Jack & Jill Series by Jewel E. Ann, the Blood & Bone Series by Tara Brown or the Twin Trio by Jettie Woodruff, you will love this series. It is deliciously dark and I loved the inner turmoil of the characters. Sapphire was torn between her feelings for Dominic and Damian and Sociopath was torn by his need for revenge and the need to protect Sapphire. Absolutely Fabulous!

“All I can tell you is if you want a book that is going to crawl up into your skin and grab a hold of your soul this is it. Its brutal, its terrifying, its consuming and its one of the best (yes friends) love stories of two people I have EVER read.” – Reader Review
“I’ve read a lot of dark books, but I think this may be one of my absolute favorites I’ve read this year!!” – Alpha Book Club
V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen.
Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
