Book Description

Preston

My wife’s dead. She killed herself right in front of me and it’s all my fault. My main

goal now is to not mix my sexual needs with my emotional needs. Those are

damaged forever. I bury my pain in a sex club that provides me an anonymous

release. This way I never emotionally cheat on my wife. She was my forever. This is

my right now.

You name it I’ve read it. I love my erotic novels. After my husband was murdered,

this is the only excitement I get out of my lonely, pathetic, workaholic life. That is,

until I met Becca with her invitation to join her for one of my wildest book fantasies.

Now I can be whoever I want to be, where no one knows my past and will never be

my future.

Review

4-star.jpg

I can confidently say after reading Black Widow, my first book by this author, that I’m a new fan! I was quickly intrigued by the story and felt a strong connection to the characters. I really appreciated the creative way suspense was woven throughout, always ensuring the story played over in my mind in between reading. Yes, regretfully I had to put the story down a few times when ‘life’ got in the way but it was certainly one I could have read cover to cover in one sitting.

Oh, and did I mention the scenes in the club were damn HAWT?! They certainly ticked a lot of boxes on my list of desires. I especially loved though, the way each scene built the characters and propelled the story forward. The chemistry was palpable and lust lingered on the pages between each encounter. I was impressed and thoroughly enjoyed this aspect of the book.

The only downfall for me was some repetitiveness, particularly at the very beginning which could have been picked up at beta or editing stage but it wasn’t enough to ruin the story or the flow. I really did enjoy the voice of this author and highly recommend this book.
